Escapeeee

We had to take a trip to the vet yesterday. Someone has an ear infection. That same someone also has a phobia of the vet. Scene: Vet had a few kitteh's in the downstairs being treated for ringworm and because they use a super special shampoo, the whole office smells like a bad perm convention. All the windows were open. oh this window is open... that's my car I can totally do this, peace out hooman She did not make it. She could have. She forgot about her leash being attached to me. Oh Pig. What am I going to do with you...

Peanut Butter & Phoebe

Is definitely the way to this girls heart. She likes to snuggle but it has to be on her terms. If you just randomly try to snuggle her she'll typically pull back and give you a funny look. Turns out if you give her peanut butter and you've got a game changer. As soon as she had two bites of my pb toast this morning she promptly laid her legs across mine and hunkered down. and no judging on the christmas table cloth still out... it's hiding yarn Too bad it's Wednesday and not a really snuggle day. Learning New Thangs...

Weekends become more and more whirlwind like the older I get. No matter how many times I try to schedule 'be a sloth' in my day planner it always seems to get crossed off. I'm not really complaining about being busy. Maybe a little. Of course I chose black yarn to knit a swatch in a totally knew stitch because I live on the edge like that. Yesterday Mary, Diana and I motored up to Stanwood, Washington to PinchKnitter Yarns to learn  Brioche Knitting My two color sample with increases and decrease. If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend it. When it first appeared on the scene I thought to myself 'no f'ing way' but now, I'm quite possibly hopping on a full speed brioche knitting train. much needed half & half and a full guiness for Mary at the end of the day... Here we are! Team America's Knitting! Left to right: Me, Mary, Diana Happy Monday!
