Mr. Brown hoping that I'll feed him two hours early instead of finishing the row I was knitting... |
1. I'm still working on the first sleeve of Miss A's frock. Not a shocking declaration I suppose, seeing as how knitting sleeves is like a second form of torture for me... It follows closely behind filing. I hate filing with a passion that if harnessed with the right attitude could bring Peace and Love to the entire world.
3. I learned something new on Valentine's day this year. Apparently the thing to do with your Valentine is go eat sushi, How did I learn this? D and I went out for sushi to our little quiet neighborhood Korean owned sushi joint. A place where we always sit at the bar and converse quite poorly with the Sam the Sushi Man. Not this time... we were relegated to a table far from the action and by the door... Why sushi anyway? Isn't the night supposed to end with kisses, cuddles and love and now you're tossing in that fresh just eaten toro (fatty tuna) breath.
4. If you aren't following the blog Witty in the City I suggest you start immediately. Not only is her dog Stella adorable the recipes she posts are simply amazing. I recommend her Crispy Chicken with New Potatoes, One Pot Chicken and Rice, and Slathered Chicken Wings. However after browsing all the recipes on the site there isn't much there that I won't eat...
5. It may be 39 degrees and pelting rain outside but I just made my camping reservations for July. I already feel warmer just thinking about it...
6. As soon as I finish Miss A's frock I have a sweater to start for my sister-in-law that she picked out over Christmas (sorry) and for the first time in 5 years I'm going to knit something in pieces, not top down or seamless... I also have a plan to knit four bunnies for Easter to leave in Phoenix when all the kids are at my mom's place in Arizona... I think they'll be surprised.
Hope you're having a great Wednesday. I had Monday off so I'm all jacked up about what day it is... I'm sure I'll be back on track in time for the weekend.

I have sleeve syndrome too, I swear it takes longer to knit a sleeve than a back or half a front.
I have tried all kinds of things. and it is still too long.
I didn't realize it was so cold and miserable there today. I will wish some sunshine your way.
