My hockey date, who I didn't get to see last night because of this horrid cold, loves to touch my knit cowls, scarves and hats. As soon as I am holding her she's got them grasped in her little hands, rubbing her sweet little face on them and just touching them, examining the stitches.
Makes my knitting heart sing.
It's also inspired me to finally knit Poppy by Ysolda Teague.
I'm using cascade 220 superwash for the body. I need to find some brown for her hair and I already have the pink for her dress and shoes...
Moms probably thanking the heavens above that there aren't any leaves in this post.
(I'm still knitting them, I'm just taking a break)
