I know I posted a finished object post about my first Epistropheid on Saturday BUT it wasn't really complete.
Know why?
Because it was missing the most amazing PomPom ever.
We all know my love of PomPoms. If you need a review you can venture back to 2015 when I made 75 assorted PomPoms for a little girls birthday present. Operation PomPom was amazing.
Or the year I couldn't remember where I put my Christmas Decorations so I went to Michaels and bought a PomPom maker and decorated my tree that way.
This PomPom is not made of yarn.
*It's fur PomPom.
Its fluffy and lovely and perfection on the top of my first Epistropheid.
I started a second Epistropheid.
I ordered a matching PomPom for that as well.
This pattern is fun.
It comes out beautifully.
I highly recommend it especially if you are just getting into fairisle knitting and the idea of handling multiple colors in a project is overwhelming. Epistropheid calls for two colors.
Not overwhelming at all.
My list of fair-isle projects for the year keeps growing and growing. So Fair-isle Friday will probably be a thing for a while.
Which might become overwhelming.
Happy Friday Ya'll
Side note: As I continue on my journey of healing, self-care, growth and life I will be making some what I hope to be amazing changes to the blog. The focus might shift a wee bit. Not away from the knitting but focusing more on why I knit, maybe a little less of a rambling. I'm going twofold with the blog; to share why I love to knit and as a therapy tool for myself. I hope you will continue this journey with me and I hope you enjoy it.
*Yes it's a real fur PomPom. I have received a few not so nice comments about it being a real fur PomPom on a very public forum. I respect everyones right to their own opinion on things but please don't use your opinion for harm.
Side-Side Note: With the chaos, pain, healing, pain, growth and adventure of the past two years. Two things are my steady rock in a crazy river. My husband and Phoebe. The calm in my storm. The joy in my heart. Phoebe is doing great by the way. She has come so far from the damaged soul we brought home. We just love her to bits.
