Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

p.s.

Guess who's not knitting what she's supposed to be? That's right. This girl. This girl cast on a whole new project that's going to be a Christmas gift. Guess what? This girl can have glorious moments of stupidity and is reveling in it right now.

Around the Corner

Christmas is just around the corner. Take one more turn and we'll be kissing 2012 good-bye and welcoming 2013. I have a lot to catch up on here and I'm planning to do that soon. I have a few finished objects to share, a report on our annual holiday party where 4 gallons of Mai Tai punch were consumed and some other rumblings that are knocking around in my head. For now though, I'm frantically knitting a monkey that I fear I'll be stuffing with toilet paper on Christmas Eve night into the wee hours of Christmas morning in order to get it done in time. Stay with me, I'll get you caught up soon!

Finished Object: Big Brother Watch Cap

Remember last weeks faux pax? The packaging up of a finished object without photographing it? I know... Rookie blogger mistake.. Don't worry though. I opened that package back up and did a mini photo shoot right here in my office. this is the birthday card i sent... we do have a messed up sense of humor in our family. Plus he lives in the midwest, which if you have seen the news, received 12-16 inches of snow this past weekend. I knit him the Watch Cap from the book 'Knits Men Want'. It's wonderful. I

Let the Emergency Knitting Begin...

Poor Bump. Rupert was jealous that he didn't have a pair of December Booties. Well good thing I had another pair started... I'll just finish one up and mail out the replacement... Possibly with a bottle of dog repellent. Good thing I love Rupert ;)

FO Fail

Inside this package is a finished object. After I sealed it up I realized I had not taken a single photo of it. It's been waiting patiently on top of the yarn pile to be shipped. Well I reopened that package and did a quick photo shoot but since it is a birthday gift for my brother you'll just have to wait till he receives it!
