Picture Blog.....

Today is just pictures. The green is a blanket, the pink is a scarf, the dog is a Frenchie who made Quintus yark. He was here for a visit, he left Saturday, The dogs are happy while I wish he had stayed. See, I've a bit of the poet in me!

Sparkly pink flip flops....so much so that I have literally worn the metallic like material off of them. They bow a little bit and a few of the sequins have fallen off. They have been good to me. I have worn them for almost a year. I know that everytime I put them on it could be the last time that I wear them, it makes me sad. Knowing that they could break at any moment I keep a back up pair of sandals in my car, just in case. However these have a life I have never seen in $3.00 flip flops. They are sturdy, they are comfortable, and I think they make my somewhat 'funny' looking feet look more narrow, at least when I look down on them they do. I've received many compliments on my flip-flops. I love them. I bought them at a drug store last fall before I went to Minneapolis for a visit and I have worn them ever since...........but like I said, I know the day is coming when they will no longer be able to take one more step with me, turn one more corner, travel to one more exoti

Happy 6th of July

Back in April planted some flower pots. It was a pretty big thing for me since I am not very good at gardening. Well let me rephrase that. I'm not good at weeding and maintenance of a yard. I tend to let it go and then decide I'm tired of the jungle and then go out and try to tame said jungle and become overwhelmed. It's a cycle, one I'm trying to break, step by little step. So the first step was flower pots to brighten up the front yard. Now, if you click the link you can revert back to the April Post where I posted pictures of the flower pots. Now see below...... They have quadrupled in size..... I used plant food, once a week and apparently it does what it says. I also purchased some bulbs, a lily, a bleeding heart, and 2 hosta plants. The Lily is gorgeous as well as the bleeding heart. That is probably my most favorite flower in the garden right now. However, with all this gardening, and ' pruning' , I have still managed to get some knitting done. Are you w
