24DOK Day 15: The Flip of the Split

I told you I was going to whammie you with a two post day today and here you go!

1. Head straight for your nearest LYS or your nearest stash bin.
2. Grab 200 yards of delicious DK Weight wool, cashmere, alpaca or a blend of all three...
3. Grab your notions; cable needle, tapestry needle, stitch markers, glass of single malt scotch.
4. Hunker down by the tree, the fire, take a sip of your liquid notion, and cast on these amazing mitts.

Green Iguana Mitts by Thea Coleman

How fun are these cuffs? The beautiful cable detail. The simple single rib on the top of the hand. I love this detail. I also am totally digging the color she chose for her pair.

So, now you have a few things on your to-do list for the afternoon, I'll let you get to it.

Thank you again Thea for giving me permission to use your photos!

 Happy Knitting!
